Pedal not working when turned on, passes signals in bypass.

Curious if anyone else has any other ideas. Friend of mine sold a maxon od-9 and the guy who got it says it is passing signal on bypass but not when engaged. No sound passing ie static etc. Said he had the problem with other pedals.

The pedal was tested and works fine before sending it. It is true bypass from what the inter webs is telling me.

Only idea I have is the guy is plugging the input in to the output. Curious if anyone else has any other ideas. Friend asked me…

Yea just asked that waiting to hear back and as well if the led is working.

I for some reason thought I had read the led was working from the initial message there’s no mention of the led in there. Oops. The guy with the pedal hasn’t responded since his initial concern and was responded with are you sure you are using a correct power supply and the cables are plugged into the right jacks. We’ll see. It’s an analogman modded od9 that wasn’t cheap so hope he didn’t fry it.
