My Little Pink Fuzz
Today I was able to put the finishing touches on my first germanium fuzz pedal. This is a PedalPCB Gnat board that was modified to clone an Elka Dizzy Tone (dubbed The Dizzy Elk by @music6000 who actually figured the mod out, all I did was build it!). You can see the mod thread here...

vero-p2p does a fantastic job of cataloguing all of the circuit variations of the extended tone bender family if you're curious
Buzzaround (MKIII): Schematic and Component Values Table
Point to point, vero and the occasional tag board layout for guitar effects - a few vintage circuits, a lot of germanium... fuzz, and more fuzzvero-p2p.blogspot.com
There are similar generic schematics and component spreadsheets for MKIIs MKIIIs etc etc.

This should be correct for the PNP version:
The Charge Pump reverses the polarity so the electrolytic caps are now back to standard so you can use a standard power supply!

bit of a necropost here but, in seeing and hearing @peccary a Dizzy Elk build, do these values match the aforementioned build? And, for clarity, no charge pump and only the jumper between 8 and 5?
Here is the Original Post, You would jumper from the back of the PCB & no Charge pump is used, left empty.

Got some "old TV parts" from Russia, looking for suggestions.
If I could get a PCB which would allow me to use the same architecture while modifying the component values that would be my ideal. I'm still learning most things right now, so I have to ask: what is the purpose of the voltage regulator there? So you run it along side & daisy chain it to...

The values I used on the PCB I had made are the same as what's used in the OP here and in the post that @music6000 shared above. And yeah, no charge pump, just a jumper (assuming you're using NPN, you replied to the PNP one).

Bringing this thread back up instead of starting a new one.
Been debugging this mod for a bit. wondering why timbre/attack knob acts as a volume knob. I swear I saw others post about the same.
C4 and C5 are reversed on the DE PCB Val and schematic. I haven't corrected on my pcb yet but wanted to point out so proper docs could be posted if so wished.

Also, Is 18k the correct value for R9?
Makes way more sense for the filter cutoff freqs.
