Years ago, we had two cats (brother and sister) of similar color and hair, they would ball up like that together, you couldn't tell where one started and the other ended.OK, it's time to introduce Arwen, Kiki's sister. Part Maine Coon, she's a beautiful long-haired cat with a very sweet disposition. At the shelter where we picked her out as a kitten, they had named her Ms. Purr because she purrs incredibly loudly. And she has that remarkable cat skill of sleeping so curled up that she looks like a pretzel with no beginning or end. Still cute despite being 15 years old!

This girl all healed up yet?The stitches came out, but we’re still taking precautions — little Miss-Cabin-Fever goes out for constitutionals with a support sling, but that hasn’t stopped her from powdering her nose.

Season’s Salutations from Sasha & Co to all you pet-people of PPCB!
Bittersweet post...She was a sweet little kitty. My family used to foster cats, she was a foster failure.
We got her, put her in the big cage that we used to acclimate cats before we let them mingle with the others.
Well, she would have none of that bullshit. She would meow and meow and complain and it was keeping me up while I was trying to sleep.
So, I got up, said "FINE! you're coming with me". And I took her to my room and closed the door.
Well, she imprinted on me right away. Would not leave me alone. Always wanted cuddles, always wanted pets, always followed me around, lovingly.
Some of the girlfriends I had before I met stickwife were jealous of her. Cause they were weirdos, and good riddance. She took to stickwife like Velcro when I first introduced them. Nothing but purrs and cuddles.
She had a good, long run. I wish she hadn't been in so much pain towards the end. She deserved better. That little girl has been the best friend a stickguy like me could ask for.
It's gonna be weird not having her here. We just buried her in the backyard in a linen shroud, I'm going to engrave a marble grave marker for her with one of my drawings. We put her right next to a nice orange tree. It's very peaceful.
I dunno what to do with myself right now. Things seem pretty unreal. It's been a rough Saturday morning. Stickwife is heartbroken too.
Sigh. Life, man. Probably wasn't a good idea to start life. Gonna have words with the guy in charge. Zero out of ten stars.
THANKs for asking Barry! This girl all healed up yet?
That's really hard man. I feel you fiercely. Our old dog was recently diagnosed with kidney disease. He may have one year left if we are lucky. He was my first dog (my parents didn't like pets) and he is the best dog ever. I don't know what I'll do when he goes. She was a sweet little kitty. Renal failure is tough. I saw a little guy, was my mom's cat...though I named him (Kung-Fu Killer Cat or KK for short), through that. That was another foster failure. That's really hard man.
