This is one that has taken me forever to get done. There were multiple hurdles on top of the normal time constraints of daily life, first off sourcing quality 5952s ( once again thanks to @fig for the save! You are a gentleman and a scholar!) then when I ordered parts I forgot to get the 15uf caps
. When I finally got it all put together and biased for some reason there was some distortion like the it had turned into an OD when switched to the block 4 stage setting(weird I know) but the modulation was perfect... so to cut to the chase It’s always the last thing you check, in this case It was the op amps, one of the 072 was doing something goofy. This was a good example of why IC sockets are a must in my opinion even from a reputable vender you get a bad one now and again. Building this was like a cold fusion reactor ( felt like it just wasn’t ever going to happen) so that inspired the graphics of a tokamak reactor... so without further ado I give you the phase reactor!I’ll add some sound clips later... not that everyone doesn’t already know what a phase 90 sounds like.
