I am very proud of how this modded Rat (NO DUH) came out. Some value changes and a Filth control that blends between LED and Asymetric Si clipping. There is a lot of texture to play with here since the LEDs are never symmetrical unless all the way counter clockwise.
I specifically wanted to avoid all the 308 vs op07 drama and worked with a Ne5534. Its sounds great and provided some real challenge to getting it to sound it's best (ie Not oscillate at high gain settings).
The additional foot switch engages an Led soft clipper. At low gain it can make things ice pick clean and sharp. At high gain it's compressed and gated and gnarly in a very unique way.
