This was first ever build after watching a lot of youtube and reading posts on here. Wanted this PJ 1991 pedal for a while and crazy expensive now so thought, why not build my own?! sounds great, very happy with the result and now addicted, already thinking about what pedal next!

Great start! As you may have detected by now, it’s pretty addictive. What’s your next pedal going to be?

I'm thinking of a Boss MT-2 or similar, or a Keeley Filaments copy, I'm thinking of making a pedal for each band I like which I haven't really thought through yet, but thinking the MT-2 / filaments for Metallica type stuff. Not decided yet though!

That’s a cool approach. My guess is you will end up building both—one of the attractions of this hobby is that you get to sample, initially just the performance aspects, and eventually the thoughts behind the design variations, of various drives, etc. About half my builds this year have been cleanish drives, and I keep finding new ones to try out.
