Here is another dastardly fun video featuring more amp in a box style pedals into a ultra clean Vox MV-50. Some pretty easy builds for some killer sounds;
First up is the Poptop, this is a super old build of mine and has a really unique paint job. There is an extremely talented painter that does custom shop Fender guitars and she does the hand painted paisley thing and I tried to ape her style as much as possible. This was one of the last pedals with a painted side and it has a few smudges which led to the taped off look I use now.
Next up is the LXII from effectslayouts.com, this is the classiest grey enclosure that needed fancy red knobs, which led to simple lettering for a basic simple looking drive.
Last up is the Paradise drive, this enclosure was taped and airbrushed this really neat metallic blue and given red knobs and then was played and sat on a shelf for a long time. I really didn’t jive with it and instead of spending hours painting it, I settled on a bowser sticker and plan on adding to the next order as a gift….
