I decided I like the way my Gibson guitars currently have them, which are the standard pots - CW for volume up. Just like turning UP amp or pedal knobs. Toward the ceiling for volume/tone up and toward the floor for volume/tone down. Maybe it's also the Les Paul was because my main guitar since 92, until fairly recently, and it is that way.
This article got me thinking about what I really like.
So good for me, I can easily get regular pots. And I might start a gradual process of switching the pots in other guitars so everything matches.
