Hi all, just wondering if for this build is it possible to use a larger capacitor for the two 25uf caps?
I can't seem to find any 25uf, but I do have 33uf... Would this work?

A 22uf would most likely be a better option than the 33uf.

22μF, 25μF and 33μF should sound pretty much the same.

I agree that A or B taper is wrong for the GAIN pot, but with 1K you can't turn the GAIN down as low. That's probably best for most users. I know some of the guys on these forums would just dime the GAIN control, in which case the taper & resistance don't matter.

I tracked down 25uf caps for mine, but I wasn’t aware of the Gain knob mod. I got great results with the gain maxed and rolling back my guitar volume for what it’s worth.
