Question about a PCB tester

This might seem dumb but I’m not entirely sure why it doesn’t work. I have one of these Smokin Amp breadboard/circuit testers and I want to use it to test my pcbs after I’ve soldered them but before I put them into enclosures. Anyways, for whatever reason I can’t get it to work. I fear I might be connecting things to the wrong spot on the PCB.

The way I’m plugging it in is the 9V to the positive at the top of the board. Ground to neg at the top of the board. And I’ve tried the in and out to the in and out at the bottom of the board, as well as reversed just in case the signal flow is true rather than as labeled. Anyways, no luck with either configuration. Any ideas?

thanks!

That’s the way I test it. Make sure that sag control is allowing the full 9v through!
I’ll have to dive in a little deeper during my next test. I did try to sag fully in each direction but I’m thinking maybe my alligator clips aren’t making a good enough connection with the in and out on the PCB.
