Question about my Rockman X100 (battery board replacement?)

So I've had this original Rockman X100 that belonged to my dad for a while. Unfortunately he left the batteries in for about two decades and when I opened it there was corrosion everywhere. Cleaned it up as best I could but its still pretty bad; luckily it looks like the corrosion and acid was contained to only the battery compartment board and its springs.

Does anyone know how I'd go about replacing that small 8 AA battery board? It has some etching on it so I'm not sure if it has to be something particular. I also suppose it would be a good idea to recap the electrolytic caps.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Trace where the + and - go and hook up a DC jack.

Or, if you're 100% set on keeping the board, either ebay or 3d printing sound like the best bets.

This site looks good they've designed a replacement power supply pcb

There's also battery springs here

As you can see from his other listings pretty expensive for the required adaptor etc

There are plenty of much cheaper listings for battery springs both positive and negative parts if you go that route I'd personally contact B5 amps to see what they can offer

Some tech info here
