I think I have built more than a dozen of these so far, has to be one of my all time favorites.

Ah ok, I like the sound of that! I have an empty Raincoat board, but I don't usually bond well with Muffs, so it wasn't high in the queue. If there's some FF DNA, I'll have to give it a try.

Where a BMP is big, the Raincoat is much more focused, and a little more gnarly, like a FF. The Raincoat does have a bit of BMP in how it’s a dense tone, but it’s more focused/efficient. The Raincoat also is a fair amount more mids than a BMP…

Yep this is a Robert original.

I love the Raincoat, I think of it more of a hybrid fuzz/distortion/overdrive. It's not quite a full on fuzz but it has a lot more character than your typical od/distortion. Very cool pedal!
