Gotcha, more the Proco Deuce then. Not the same but close. The deadendfx Double Cross is a twin rat with bells and whistles. It is currently out of stock due to the IC availability though.
it would be much harder to isolate the expandora's envelope pieces into something you could switch in/out efficiently but more or less, yesIsn't this kind what an expandora is? It's in the ballpark anyways
That’s what I was planning on trying. I fabbed a brat (or has one fabbed) and put clipping diodes on a switch. I thought I did an on off on, but ended up with just an on on. Thought about putting feedback loop on a switch too, if I lay this one out.should be fairly easy to accomplish ... need a rotary breakout board for clipping diodes ... bound to be someone selling that like fuzzdog or maybe an oshpark project ... probably same for input buffer on a stomp switch breakout board ... don't know if anyone's got the feedback loop diodes of the brat on their pcb but you could just mount those on a toggle ... what else do you need to switch?
I want all of those plus cmos plus no diode plus switchable feed back loop. Basically, I’d like to have more than three options in a pedal that no one has done yet. I have a rat with3 options and a ruetz mod option. The ruetz mod can be put on a potentiometer to blend in and out. What features do you actually want?
There are lots of rat PCBs that give you rat2/turbo/dirty diodes on a switch, you could put two of those in a box with whatever switching arrangement you want and call it a day... king of rats basically
At its heart, I believe you are right. The drive portion of the schematic looks very much the same.I was kind of under the impression that’s what a parentheses/ life pedal is. Isn’t it? just a churched up rat?
Not yet, thank you.Have you checked effects layouts? I thought he had a hot rod rat like this
That’s the spirit!while we're at it, probably should throw the feedback mod in there because noise
Not yet, thank you.
