Recommend me a low gain fuzzy od

As the subject line says, I am searching for a light, fuzzy overdrive to use with my JTM45 played cranked through an attenuator. I am looking to add a slight fuzzy warmth to the Marshall "kerrang", but a booster doesn't seem to do that it only strenghtens the kerrang :D then again most fuzzes seem to push the amp too much and it goes fizzy and too distorted/fuzzed out. Is there such a thing as a fuzzy booster?

Does it have to be a PCB? The BJF designed Baby Blue OD is a fantastic fuzzy drive which works particularly well with Marshalls. I've posted a Vero layout for it in the Vero section if you're interested.

Barbershop immediately jumps to mind--one of my favorite overdrives, and I would call it a low-gain fuzzy OD.
Another option is the Tubebender.

If you want one that more straddles the line of fuzz than OD, then Fuzz Aldrin.

My MVP from 2025 in the fuzzy low gain category is the Sandblaster. So good. Dung Beetle is a close 2nd. And the Rat always has a place in my heart.

The Carcosa is also a banger. Barbershop can be cool in the right context. Also, shoutout to the Awful Waffle- some folks like it for low gain fizz (not a fan personally).

The first pedal that popped into my mind when reading the thread title was the Mythos Golden Fleece / PedalPCB Copper Clad Fuzz. Has this really nice fuzzy Overdrive feeling. Low parts count. Depending on which diodes and transistor you use it can be lower or higher gain. Highly recommended!
