Hi fellow solder sniffers,
this might be an old topic but in most forums it just disappears.
Should we have a reference di signal/track to compare pedals?
To get something like this guy does with his amp comparisons https://youtube.com/@sonicdrivestudio
I suck at playing and so do others who upload videos for diy pedals. Don’t get me wrong I really appreciate it when someone uploads a pedal video and I really love it when when someone puts their heart into these videos. But very often they just don’t show what the pedal is capable of because of all the noodling or walls of noise.
On the other hand forum members who are to shy to show off their skills could show off their pedals without fear.
Maybe genre related tracks?
What do you guys think?
Something one can download and run through my pedal to compare to another guys video.
There are clean di tracks out there but they are rare and maybe not intended to put on youtube.
