Relay-based programmable Looper/Switcher with 8 Channels

Hey there,

I would love to see a relay-based Looper/Switcher with the possibility to store presets for 8 (or more) channels.
Something like a relay bypass module x 8 - maybe controlled by an arduino or something similar.
This thing could have a stompbox mode where it works just like the relay bypass x 8 or a preset mode, where you could program the individual loops which should be active. Then name it "Kick Rick"... ;-)

Bad/Good Idea?

For what it's worth, I picked up this looper "kit" from a guy in Italy (see all that SMT stuff? He soldered all that before he sent it.)



instructions and info here. (for the record, I picked this up cause it was cheap and I didn't see anything like it anywhere else, but I'd much rather see one at pedalPCB!)

Just bringing this up again because I'd love to be able to build a PedalPCB looper.

Not to pry, but are there any plans in the pipeline? Maybe something a la the BYOC Super8 or Epic Looper?
