For truly terrible interviewing check out Lee Anderton. He talks over his interviewees, ignores what they say and butts in non-stop. His factory visit videos are truly cringe-worthy. He just ignores the host and keeps looking away and gets things wrong. But at least he's not quite as annoying as Rob Chapman. Very nearly but not quite.

There are a lot of YouTube interviews which which remind me of mainstream live tv in the 90/00s. A lot of people with nose irritations.. must be all the lights.

Is it an international thing? I first heard it on a George Carlin record. We sure don't say it in Italy and Poland.

Sorry, as most of the time I spread fake infomration. We don't ask how the hammer is hanging but we show how the hammer is hanging when we want to threaten someone while being superior.

And to go way off topic we also have freely translated „the hammer is hanging on the ass“ or „from the ass hangs the hammer“ which is according to wiktionary „absolutely not; how dare you; forget it!“

I've never heard anything about hanging hammers in Australia. But we may ask "How's it hanging?" when meeting up with a friend. And we often refer to a hammer as an American screwdriver. Does this help?
