This one is a departure for me from my typical builds, shielded, tube, c2c board. Only 3d printed part is the stomp switch washer. The artwork was done by my daughter. I handed her the enclosure and asked her to “artwork it” and this is what she came up with.
The tube is a telefunken 12at7 that I have had for probably around 20 years I’m honestly not sure how I even got it. The build was easy the only difficult part was sourcing the parts that I don’t normally stock. I had a bit of an issue getting it to fire up but it was fixed by using a 1 amp dedicated power supply. I wired this one tip positive so I could use the metal jack on the outside.
This thing sounds honestly better than I had expected. It does all the 70’s twin clean sounds that I love and also sounds really good as a pedal platform. Mine runs into a Unicab then a mixer.
