Sandblaster-Holy Grit build

i just finished this one about an hour ago and i'm really diggin' it. I wanted to capture the look of the original (that way i can keep track of what they are).
anyway, i'm very pleased on how it turned out and it sounds great with a bass.

IIRC, you polish the enclosures yourself.
Do you now order pre-polished enclosures or consider doing so?

I'm guessing you don't polish the top if you're applying a graphic over it.

What’s going on with the jumper wires? It looks like the input on the relay PCB and the +9v are hard wired to ground, inter alia. Obviously that’s not what is going on, but I’m curious what is going on.

I reckon using your own name is a better way to go. I once made a Tele out of Warmoth parts. Instead of Fender on the headstock, I wrote Fred - in the same font. And instead of Telecaster I wrote Splat-o-Custard In the same style as Fender write the model name. I've also used Pretendocaster on another guitar. I think it's better not to potentially make problems for yourself if you ever sell something or whatever. And it's fun coming up with different names which you can make look similar. You could easily turn OKKO into KOOK or OTTO. Or even OKAY. I sold the Fred Splatocustard to a guy I knew and for him the fact that it was a Fred was a selling point.

i think that you're right, although at least i did label "Handmade in USA by johnk" at the bottom of the enclosure.
