ShamWah - inductor

Hi guys,
I'm building the ShamWah pedal, I bought this inductor :

Eleca Halo Inductor, 15,50

Eleca Halo inductor for wahs Inductance: 600mH Height: 14mm Diameter:18mm

but the pins don't match the pcb's pads. Should I cut the 6 pins where there is no wire soldered to and solder the 2 left on the pcb? But on which pads (schematic says pads 1 and 4)?

From what I remembered the pads did match the pins

Based on the part I'm not entirely sure which pads are 1 and 4, you wouldn't happen to remember? does the number correspond to the pin to its right or left?

Looking at the trace there, I think you just make sure the 2 pins on the transformer with wire leads to them are EAST/WEST oriented.

I think I found the answer by looking at the trace and the inductor doc (I should've added more details when I found the answer...)

cool, i think i got it figured out tho i'm missing some components to finish the build so i won't know till the rest of my parts get here

Sorry for reviving an old thread. Out of interest, would one of these halo inductors fit inside a normal 125B enclosure? The PCB in the design I'm dreaming up would be mounted via input/output jacks so it could be set pretty low.
