Sheepylove - Opening the love for most

The Sheepylove store is live. https://sheepylove.com/

I've been doing layouts for a couple of years now and have had a bit of interest in them from now and then, so I decided to offer them to the public.

These are pedals that I enjoy playing, mods that some of the people on the forum have made. Some great designs or tweaks on designs by guys like Chuck D. Bones and Hamish R.

I love the classics, original Boss stuff has the tones I grew up listening to on the radio, so I try to capture the original circuits where I can. But don't fool yourself, you're still building an OD-1 with different tone shaping..

Respect to Robert for letting me post here, he's really built a great community here and I'm grateful to be a part of it.

I'm based in Germany, so this means that shipping to USA is not happening right now. I want it. You want it. Nobody wants to pay $40 shipping before tariffs. Hopefully it'll die down, or we find another way to share the woolly love for my state-side brethren. If you really want the pain, message me, but it'd be at your risk and cost (which sucks for everyone).

On the other side of shipping, good for my colleagues in the EU I guess?

I've tried to keep to the PPCB standards as much as possible. Drill templates should be interchangeable for example. DIY is all about adopting smart ideas..

Stock is going to be low for a few weeks, so I've put everything on discount whilst I wait for restocking to come through. I haven't finished uploading all my circuits, but each one takes time to get docs and adding it to the site, so be patient and bug me if there's something you've seen which isn't offered yet!

There's a lot of gratitude to this whole community who got me to this point. The sellers who set the bar for awesome DIY pedals, those doing circuits and layouts and sharing their work, and those enjoying the final product. It's a privilege to be a builder in this time and I hope to contribute sharing the love in an open way.

Warm and woolly,
Dave

Great shop with a lot of goodies! Also great to see some of your unique faceplates for sale.

That is most excellent. I look forward to a future where it’s (more) reasonable to ship to the states.

Everything about the site looks great. I do have an unsolicited suggestion. I love when the dimensions of the board are available, in the doc or on the site. Helps me daydream enclosure ideas.

Yeah, I need to update my build process to include dimensions on the PCB. @HamishR already beat you to that one. Seems a common ask!

That said, most of these "should" fit in a 1590B. Though, nobody wants that.

Hearty congratulations on this fine endeavour, I shall make some purchases when able, $hipping co$t$ be damned!

Wait ... what? 🐑 Sheepdip Blaaaahtman!
:poop:
What happened to the old site?

Point I'd like to Ram 🐏 home: There should be a back-door passage to the legacy SheepyLove website. Ewe know it! 🐑

Will the existing Sheepylove gerbers stay up on Github?

Excellent news! I'm eyeing a few of the boards, but will have to wait until the drill template is back in stock.

The drill template is what I've been looking for to use in my PCB-less builds https://sheepylove.com/products/125b-drill-template
I have some left from an earlier design which I've been putting in with orders whilst stock lasts.

That legacy site.. I don't even know where the code is anymore. But easter eggs do have a way of getting into my work..

I'll keep the existing gerbers up on Github, the love is shared. My main aim with the store is to cover the costs of what I do. I end up doing enough layouts to notice the price of pots every quarter..

I've been throwing it in as a bonus for early adopters, I have a few more left but they're an older design (don't have the nice hanging hole in the corner for example) but have the right holes.
