@Vicious C s guitar build area made me want to share mine. This is where I work on and build guitars among other things. Looking to add CNC capability at some point after moving.

Well, first I'd like to acknowledge @Spiff4565 , who, in starting this thread, made me look at my work bench and decide that this morning was the time to excavate! So, now I have an unusually clean desk with assorted small stacks all over the floor...
I have my supplies in the same room, organized in flat divider boxes; which have gradually been replacing the small drawer type of storage for me. And, when I have real work to do, or a larger project, there's always the trusty dining room table, which is almost always loaded down with projects of mine. Luckily we hardly ever eat there...

. Between traveling, working, dad’s health issues, and blah blah blah, and I’ve built about 40 pedals in the last couple months, it’s a nightmare.

Place has served us ok and let us save up but I’m looking forward to moving in the next couple weeks.

I was just curious what all the holes in the the MDF next to your door were all about Not trying to insult your workspace here! All these hammered (?) holes look like they served a purpose while building something, but I can't guess what.
- It's great to move out, get a new start and setting up a space within its perks and limitations.

Finally got some drawers and stopped sorting everything in old tayda and digikey boxes on the floor. For the most part. Not done organizing yet but it actually felt kind of good, finally sort of understood my wife's obsession with things being clean.
The reprogramming has taken hold. Lost another one.
NGL, I thought you were soldering on a hotel ironing board before my eyes focused.

I was an Ikea "gaming desk" I got it used, didn't care about gaming features, just wanted something cheap with a couple of built in shelves, it has stupid built in cup holders, but they're good for screws/washers when you're taking something apart. I have the towel down to avoid scratches on transformers/etc when I'm working on amps, probably more of a hindrance with pcbs, but I'm used to it, so I leave it there.

I just ordered these two from ikea. The shoe rack is pretty awesome; you can fix it either at a slant or flat. It sits over my desk, so besides storage, it would be amazing for synths/drum machines. The roller cart I bought because my gf wants me to "hang out in the living room more" so its my rolling solder station, Im setting it up so I can do builds anywhere in my place.
