Skeptical Buffer affecting Glory Hole

Both are working fine, I like the extra "sparkle" the buffer adds, however it is interacting weirdly with the glory hole. its like its putting a blanket over it or something when both are engaged. without the skeptical, the glory hole is totally fine. the buffer is in front of the glory hole, I've read it should be at the front of the chain.

I can't explain it if the Buffer is in fact between the guitar and the Glory Hole so please make sure the order is exactly that.
Do you also encounter the issue if you swap the order around?

The glory hole has high enough input impedance to not care too much about what's in front of it except if the output impedance is HUGE.

The pulldown resistor R14 in the skeptical buffer is arguably uncommonly big at 3M3 and although it should probably not cause any issues, reducing that to 10 or 100K (more common values) would be my first guess.

yep issue is there regardless of the order
