Slow gear trimmer

Another sort of basic question for the day. Just boxed up my slow gear and need to know what the trimmer does. Been fiddling with it while playing and can’t really discern the overall effect of it

The answer is: blue. Actually, the trimmer is a blend/mix, very subtle, but I think I ended up just turning it full wet, cuz what’s the point if its not.
