This thing grunts. I don't have a bass but I'm sure it would sound great with it. Really does good with humbuckers.
Also including a quick vid of how I do my faceplate since I was asked previously. I tried to upload directly, but it said it's too big so I had to put it on YouTube as a short (because it's a hyperlapse it's only 5 seconds long)

Edit to add: I rated this 5 stars but that's only with humbuckers. I found it too dirty/sludgy (if that's a word) using single coils. But for humbuckers, it's fantastic.
