Soft relay for Lowtide & Duocast

Two questions really.
I've been jamming basic relay bypass boards into my pedals recently, and two I'd like to update, the lowtide obviously has not a lot of space to put it in, and the duocast has a channel switch - can I use the basic relay dpdt switch? or one of the intelligent relay modules (which one and how do I wire it?)

Also if anyone reads this and cares, you can put the basic relay dpdt switch on the Kliche full size without any issues.

I always write these things as I think of them and not really thought out.
For the lowtide is anyone aware of a relay bypass board I can buy that would fit in the lowtide around the PCB which takes up most of the 1590bb?
Or perhaps I need to order a 1590bb2 and the extra depth would allow me to jam the relay in... somewhere. I don't really want to commit to a 15900xx just to get the relay in.

And yeh, just wondering if I can get a soft switch that will work with the duocast channel switch.

I recall seeing a very compact (and simple) relay-bypass done by one of the forum members — can't remember who it was.

IIRC, it may be small enough to squeeze under the jacks if the jacks are installed as close to the rim of the enclosure as possible (definitely BB2 or BBS).

Alternatively, go for a different style of enclosure such as a Bud box or Hammond sloping model or ChickenWing Audio, or — that sort of thing.
With a sloper you're sure to have enough room and could even make it a portrait-oriented pedal with top-jacks.

I feel like you should be able to squeeze the relay bypass module under the Low Tide PCB.

The PCB shouldn't really be too big of a problem, the tricky part is going to be the footswitch...

The only one I can think of that would drop right in is the Lehle.

Yeh I had been meaning to look into the footswitch as well. I think I saw Tayda had some footswitches like this one
And that maybe I could clip the outer ones off, needed to look into it further.
I'm not against getting a new 1590bb2, it would actually fit the rest of my board that's 125b or 1590bb2 already

I remembered the same thing FF, and then I was thinking maybe it was like on fuzzdog, or dead end ... Not sure.

Probably @szukalski https://github.com/szukalski/pedal-simple-relay, the v2 SMD board is tiny, but unless someone can send it to you you'll have to order multiples from JLCPCB.

Good lord, they’re just waiting for a government/miltary contract aren’t they? 😂

Maybe to have it "renewed" — the current contract is a black-ops contract, not on the books.
That's why the raw materials inventory doesn't match the output — either that or each switch weighs about a kilo...
