I'm not sure if the input and output is wired correctly. I used open jacks and am not really familiar with the jacks in the build docs, sleeve, ring, tip.

I can't quite see the input wiring, but you'll want the battery + to the shorter arm of the jack (ring). The longer one is the tip, and that goes to the pcb input pad. The sleeve is the ground.

Is this better? My problem is the board only says in and out. Nothing about + or -. Which is which?

Battery Plus going to the jack? Build documents show battery Plus going to the DC jack and the battery negative going to the input jack. Correct me if I'm wrong the build documents show sleeve as the black wires and tip as a yellow wires?

I believe the outside pads are the in/out and the inner pads are ground. I haven't built this, but looking at the doc, it seems to be the case.
The red wire in the pic above appears to go from the ring (should be tip) to the pcb (you can follow the layers around the barrel).

I really appreciate it bro! I honestly didn't think it mattered for tip or ring, but I was wrong. After looking through some other guide files I realized that I had it wrong, I swap the two wires from ring and tip and everything is working fine now! THANK YOU!
