SPST momentary footswitch question

I have a couple of these now, and I will make use of them one day... but I haven't seen any info about wiring them. As in: which wire goes where. Does it matter with these? Cause it seems to me either way will do what the switch is meant to do; create a momentary connection.

Makes no difference. The two lugs are either open or closed.
