I believe the Cornish buffer board on here could be built into a 1590A box as a stand-alone buffer. It would need jumpers (maybe only one?) on some of the stomp switch pads. You’d just have to deal with securing it in the box (hot glue, double sided foam tape, something like that maybe).
It’s a highly rated buffer circuit and I’ve build it 3 times on vero for different projects and really like it.
I agree it be nice to a have project designed for a stand-alone buffer, maybe with a bypass switch (which could be used to mount the pcb in the box).
