Stockade: MPSA13 vs BS170?

There's a choice to use MPSA13 or BS170 on the Stockade. What's the difference / how do they compare? I have both. It is as simple as "use whichever one you have access to, it's the same either way" ??

Unfortunately I don't yet have a testing setup that gives me an easy way to try different components prior to basically building the whole pedal. Working on it!

Use the MPSA13, It's on the PCB with correct Orientation & 10K resIstor is also on the PCB, No Fuss !

When I was designing the PCB there were several negative build reports surrounding the boost section as drawn in the available schematic. (built on vero layouts)

I didn't want to take chances so the board was drawn with a BS170 instead. After the first batch arrived I tested with MPSA13 and everything worked perfectly fine, so it was changed back to the original schematic.

The note was left in the build docs for anyone who might have gotten one of the first batch of boards. It's been a while now, I can probably safely remove that to avoid confusion.

TLDR: You can use either one if that's all you have, but the MPSA13 is the "correct" part.
