Sunflower Fuzz Trimpots

I finished building the Sunflower Fuzz and was wondering how to set the trimpots. Any recommended value or just by ear?

By ear should be fine. The clean control is basically an input attenuator similar to lowering your guitar volume knob...the bias and sundial work in tandem on Q2’s collector so maybe set the sundial at 4.5v and play with the trimmer til you hit the sweet spot. No hard and fast rules on this one though.
