Just for looks? I’ve never put heat shrink on the jacks since they stay stationary and couldn’t really ever move around to short on something. But if you like how it looks, go for it!

Yeah I think it just looks better. Also it'll keep my LEDs wired a little cleaner. It'll take a few practice runs to get the lengths and sizes all dialed in, but I like it so far.
