Super '64 bass question

I'm sure this has been asked before, but Im having trouble searching the forums...

ideas on how i can increase bass? increasing the volume makes things very icepicky

That would help, I think, but there are other things to do.

Take a look at C11, you could increase that. Or Better, turn R10 and C11 into a Stupidly Wonderful Tone Control. Basically replace R10 with a trimmer (or external pot) and have leg 2 feeding the input of C11 (output of C11 still connected to ground). Make the trimmer a 20k or 25k; bump C11 to 10n (or whatever, experiment)

So trimmer leg 3 is R10 input, Leg 2 connected to the C11 cap (it's input on the PCB left blank) and leg 1 of the trimmer to R10 output.

Hope that makes sense. Pull up the SWTC schematic and it will.
