So, as I described in my build report for this, I had some problem soldering in the AB switch on this and had to desolder and replace it. That didn't do much love for the pads on the component side of the board. Now that it's finshed, it's acting funky and I think I'm going to ned to add some jumpers between some of those pads and where the signal needs to go from there. But here's my question:
On the pads for the AB switch, I'm getting continuity between the 1st and 3rd rows in the first column (lugs 1 and 7) and in the third column (lugs 3 and 9). I thought maybe the switch was bad so I desoldered yet again - but the continuity is still there without the switch when I touch probes to the pads (or what's left of them) on the component side. Looking at the traces on the board and the intended operation of the schematic (as well as just how I understand a 3PDT switch to work), I can't figure out why these lugs would have continuity with each other or if it is intended. Just trying to figure out if this is part of the problem I'm experiencing or if it is just "the way it is, doesn't hurt anything" and I should move on to putting in yet another 3PDT and installing my jumpers.
Pics of board drawings and schematic attached(AB switch is on the left in the top pic, and on the right (labelled A/B) in the bottom pic).
Thanks,
Mike
