Switch lights up LED, but sound goes in and out

Hi,

I have an original TIM pedal that is pretty old. I let a fried borrow it for a while and when I got it back, the switch is acting up. When I step on it, the led lights up, but sometimes there is no sound at all, sometimes its fine, and (while it's engaged) if I press and barely move the switch (not enough to turn off) the sound will cut in and out. Is it the switch? I'm fairly new at working on pedals.

It's either the switch, or the solder connections on the switch.

I changed out the switch and it's good now. Thanks
