Tearjerker making oscillating sound

So this is an odd one
My tearjerker sounds great except, when on I get an oscillating sound. Everything seems to be where it should be.

Been there, done that. I built a Rangefinder (Rangemaster clone) that worked fine for seven or eight months and then developed a pronounced whine. I posted a troubleshooting thread here and did all kinds of stuff – replaced the wiring, replaced the filter cap, pulled the charge pump – nothing fixed it. Plugged it into a different amp and the sound went away. I probably should’ve tried that first.
