Following a suggestion from @Betty Wont , I ordered this board (well, 3 actually) from Oshpark. I built one into a test rig for the transistors. After some relentless testing, I settled on a combo I liked and then went scroungin’. I’ve had this matte green Gorva enclosure for a while. I bought a grab bag for a few $ back when LMS moved shop and got a load of stuff in it, this ‘blemished’ enclosure included. My potentiometer drawers are getting pretty depleted, so I used what I had on hand - correct values but log rather than linear taper. Repurposed and old mono jack and happened upon a LMS footswitch breakout board, which was nice because I was feeling pretty low energy.

Timbre and Texture at the top, volume in the middle. The cut switch is meh but I left it in.

Anyway, it sounds like a fuzzrite! Does the thing. I like it A LOT.

Edit: the pic makes it look like there’s an inconsistency in colour on the face of the enclosure, but there actually isn’t any. Light is weird.

Here is aclever way to hold the jewel in place, Pettyjohn uses it in their pedals!
I've got a big amber jewel with LED in a build — I COULD NOT find those damn c-clips anywhere in the correct size, 'cause I didn't want to buy a 500-piece box of assorted sizes I'll never use.

PS: @Laundryroom David — wanna sell one of your extra boards?

I got a shop called L &T Venables I go to that sells them, washers, O rings, split pins, springs ect. individually from those 500 piece packs.
They also sell every type of metric & imperial bolt & screw in stainless, grade 8 & coated individually.
You go in with the part your fitting it to & the salesperson will take you to the area & find the one that fits.

I did that.

I've got a nut & bolt house I went to, and a couple other brick & morter suppliers — I've been to 4 or 5 places and come home empty handed.
I wound up using an ill-fitting nut (probably not the right thread-pitch and only a few threads are grabbing).

Oooh nice. I love a Fuzzrite, but haven't built one for myself yet. Also love Gorva enclosures, but haven't had the pleasure yet. Looking at the amp they are making with Templo Devices at the moment too.
