I really like this forum. It has been an oasis of calm and tranquility in a sea of angry, argumentative forums where people freely bad mouth each other and talk nonsense. I hope that one recent thread which Robert locked is not going to set a precedent. I don't mind being corrected or shown to be wrong, but please keep any vitriol at TGP or wherever else you might visit - but NOT HERE. We all have opinions and none of them are inherently wrong. I have very particular opinions and tastes and I certainly don't expect anyone to share them - if they do I'm delighted. But I don't feel the need to blast anyone for having different taste from me. Even if they are wrong! (That was a little joke)

If you can't be friendly then you know where to go.

There used to be a stickied post here in the Breakroom requesting that we avoid conversations about who you pray to, who you voted for, and who you prefer to sleep with. Not a rule, but a request, because those conversations tend to go south pretty quickly.

Folks have contrasting but strong feelings about those subjects and I highly doubt anyone is going to have a positive eye opening experience from a post on a pedal building forum.
