On a serious note, this forum reminds me not to be my usual opinionated a-hole on the internet and I hope if I behave like that here that I will be called out for it.

I remove the tone circuit from my guitars. The less useless controls to bump the better.

Nah. Sorry if I get sensitive about this stuff but this place has led a charmed life and I would hate to see it go the way all of the other forums do. And there are some pretty funny people here! It's unusual to be able to make a relatively subtle joke and have people get it - online!
