The 2025 Hit Me PIF thread - registration closed (update)

K. I'm the loser that stalled the PIF box this year. I needed to find a bigger box whilst working a ton of OT, then snowpocalypse 2026 occured and between preparing for it, being huddled around the wood stove in the basement with no power for several days, and setting alarms to wakeup twice a night to feed the stove, it fell off my radar. Licking my wounds a bit today after a 19-20 hour day yesterday fixing a mobile MRI that lost power and froze, causing a ton of damage. I did get 6 straight hours of sleep this morning for the first time in 10+ days though. Gonna have it on its way to pedal builder on Monday and get this thing back on track.
There's some more stuff I may pull out of the box for room/weight if I can't find a larger container. Someone should take a haul of the low dollar stuff(not all of the nice stuff) to free some room. There's a good bit of individual components, caps and stuff, that could be cleared out.
Probably don't need many more contributions of 3 WIMA caps in a pink bag. Not to dis anyone, that stuff just seems to accumulate.

I’m sorry to hear of the situation you’re in. I totally understand.
As to the tossing of cheese, feel free to 86 anything in the cookie tin that doesn’t pass muster in your opinion.

I second the motions to reduce the cheese in the PIFPack. Note that if it's not a motion, I'm still OK with it.
 
Glad it finally departed and landed. Partly because I lost the tracking number. hope you find a cool use for the giant Raytheon pointer knob.
The Chicagoclops is a jessenator jam. my build sounded awesome until the 13700 departed this world. Note of warning, if it's oscillating, don't pretend it's a thermin for 2-3 minutes. Apparently that was the 13700 crying for help. I think I was rolling transistors and got some legs swapped, and forced too much current through the ota.
 
There was a lot of good stuff in here. Here’s what I grabbed:

MBP, RWL, Naegele Audio, and Deadend FX PCBs. 1590B drill template. Super cool 25¢ guitar pick.

‘twas a nice valentine, pink baggies filled with goodies. Thanks everyone before me for putting all that stuff in there. The box is in rough shape, I’m thinking about swapping it for one that’s more intact. I’ll finish up my contribution and get this in the mail early next week.

Oh, and for the goodwill portion of this, my family bought xmas gifts for two brothers in a family that didn’t have money for them.

I imagine we have license to use a larger or smaller box as the need requires. 🤷‍♂️📦

Pretty sure when it gets to me I'll need a bigger box to send onward.

So . . . where's the box now?
