I love this compressor. It feels the best to play for what I do. The only issue I have with it is that it's a little bit noisy (at least my build is). Noisy as in a faint white noise type of sound, regardless of the guitar signal.
Is there anything we can do to attempt to mitigate this effect? Would subbing the 4558 with NE5532 chips help at all? Use the latest THAT VCA chips?
Maybe I just need to build a new one; I built one of these early in my adventure and it's not my best.
