Made a cart when the Easter code came out... Almost pulled the trigger but I then I got a hold of my PCB buying impulse and decided to finish the 15 other builds I got in production before buying more...

I needed a build doc so I went to pedalpcb.com and what do I see .... A even better coupon than last week... And of course my cart was still full so y'all can guess what happened... My backlog is just ridiculous at this point xD . Don't get me wrong, I looooove coupon codes but I really need to keep that hording PCB impulse in check T_T !

My pile includes a board that I actually think is older than my oldest son and he's 32

I think, I'll get that it's on sale or I see bogof deals then I think do I really want another vox box or should I buy some food? Nah its on sale, let's have it

This hobby sure keeps you in trim
 
I went crazy during the Christmas one, and have had to force myself to not buy anymore until i have at least half the ones i previously bought, built. They're like books, I buy way more than i read. but like to have things ready for whenever a specific mood strikes me.

I started building to save money, but Ive probably spent more than I would have spent just buying pedals. But i enjoy the process of it all even more than playing.
 
Sale got me too... decided to finally check out that mojito. Tacked on an ev mini and fuzzy fox to make for friends. I think i haven't built one yet because I very much dislike the cocktail. Mint and citrus is confusing.

Yeah that was my exact thinking when bugg rolled out the Easter coupon... But I did choke on the 420 one :p. My issue is my "to do pile"... There's no way I will ever be able to do it all!
 
I got a mojito on one of my last 2 orders xD haven't even populated the resistors yet :x. With 2 kids now and the pandemic lockdown pretty much over I really got a lot less time to build T_T

I also got a couple of synthesizer this winter and I barely got a chance to really get into them. I guess the coupon code ain't really to blame ... Looks More like my bad time management is the culprit ^^

Speaking of sales, I apparently had a BOGO coupon on round 3 of kid acquisition. I keep the iron in the basement, up on a shelf and only work while they sleep.

Damn it, I need to stop paying attention to what you all are doing or planning on. The DMD-2 may need to go on the list. And I only have 1 FV-1 left without an associated PCB.
