Thermionic DLX: bi-color led and other questions

since there is no video online of the Thermionic Deluxe in action, I have some questions about it's channel switching and channel led;

1- how the channel footswitch led works? it's on for one channel and off for the other?

2- if yes, whats the easiest mod to make it a different led color for each channel? (and both off for when the pedal is off)
bi-color led or two leds in to led holes? can you please explain me how to do it like I'm 10 years old, with no electronic experience and english not being my first language?

3- in this pedal, can I switch channels with the pedal off? like turn the pedal off on channel B and change it back to channel A before turning it on again

According to this doc, one switch is bypass, the other is channel switch. Each switch has its own led

yes, but it's possible to know how the channel switch led works? it's on for one channel and off for the other?

One for on/off. Effect on is led on.
Other for channel switching. I would assume channel B is led on (the schematic does not show the switching)
