Threeverb effect issue

hello all,

I have a threeverb, and the bypassed signal is fine. If I turn the effect on i have control over the volume function of the effect but there's no reverb. I have built one next to it and no issue. Is it possible that my preloaded IC chip malfunctioned? Thank you!!!

If the EEPROM is in fact bad I'll send you another one, no need to buy it.

Connect this point to ground and see if you get any effects. If you do, we can suspect the EEPROM...
This will activate the internal effects of the FV-1, so it won't be ThreeVerb effects but it will let us know if everything else is working properly.

If you still don't have any effected signal we'll need to look elsewhere.

if you are not getting any kind of effect when you short that resistor to ground the problem is not your eeprom.

time to use an audio probe. if you don't have one, do a google search and see how easy it is to build one from spare parts. and you can also do a search in the forums here for using an audio probe. you can even find some threads on troubleshooting boards that use FV-1 chips.

build a probe and report back on whether you are getting audio signals going into and out of the FV-1 chip.
