Throw a party with a Mojito!

Finished building this one the other day. Had a lot of fun designing the enclosure for it. I figure if you're gonna have a pedal called the Mojito then it darn well should look like a party! As such, I found some good graphics on a few vector graphic sites and threw this together. Turned out pretty darn good I think.

As for the sound of the pedal, I honestly didn't know what to expect. I knew a bit about what it was based on, but no real point of reference. I figured it would be somewhat of a Marshall amp type thing. It certainly doesn't disappoint! It's not a super bright pedal, nor is it too dark. Sort of that Goldilocks kind of thing: just right! Definitely not transparent. It does add a bit of fatness to the sound.

I love the boost since it helps give the pedal two types of gain. Without the boost, you have to crank the gain to get a lot of juice out of it (and it certainly provides plenty of that!) Cleans up really nice too! With the boost, it just opens up into gnarly distorted amp goodness. Really beefy but still can clean up if you back off the volume a bit.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the result. Heck, I might even build a few more and post them on Reverb. ;)
