Ungula build

I just spent the last 20 minutes troubleshooting why I was getting no sound in my Ungula pedal... turns out the cable that was plugged into my guitar was going to my computer, not to the cable that I was plugging into my pedal. Plugged the right cables in and it sounds great!

Went for the Hoof Cleft mod simply because I was able to find the MPSA13 easier than the 2N1308.

Looks good! Been there, done that with the cables. I like the Conic Sections, very geometric.
I think you mean you went for the Cleft mod. If you decide to try the Hoof, any low-leakage, medium gain NPN Ge will work. Although I gotta say, it's unlikely you'll hear any difference. The big diff is LEDs vs 1N4148. What do you think of the SHIFT control?

Great build! And yes been there got the T-Shirt; cable not plugged in, volume all the way down on guitar and all that stuff. Half an hour later facepalm.

Yeah, I meant Cleft mod. I haven't played around with it too much, I'm hoping to get some time this weekend, I'll be sure to play with the SHIFT control.

The SHIFT control has the most effect when TONE is above noon. It sucks out more and more of the mids as you turn it clockwise.
