This was my 3rd build, 1st being a fuzzdog kit w/ all parts pre-sourced and my second (coming soon in another post).
It was pretty straightforward, there were some rookie questions I had back when I made this roughly 4 months back (revisited my work in November) but the forum was super helpful. I own the Cloven Hoof V2 and it’s pretty similar, although not an exact replica (Atleast mine wasn’t). I’d say it got 80% of the way there but obviously parts sourcing and component tolerance is always a huge factor. The volume on this is insane! I took someone’s advice on PPCB and changed out the volume A1M pot with another value to manage the massive volume spike on my clean amp (Peavey Classic 50).
Overall a good learning experience and had some lessons learned such as socketing heat sensitive components, buying a capacitance meter and measuring my parts out before installing them. This pedal has since been sold for a profit to feed the addiction.
