vertical box of rock?

i love my vexter box of rock, but it is harshing my pedal board layout pretty bad. i’d love to make a new one with a vertical layout (and i’d probably make the SHO part of it switched with a toggle because it’s always on).

The Van Pelt has a very similar circuit (with more tone control and minus the boost). I imagine you can get similar tones from it.

You could probably squeeze a Crackle Jack (Sho) and Distortr (Distortron) into one box, especially if you hard-wired the controls on the boost. Then you would have an ultimate Box of Rock.

wow, that would be incredible. thanks. maybe i’ll build a van pelt or distortr (didn’t even know the “distotron” existed) in the meantime. they seem different enough to be worth a build.

...and i just discovered the “double rock” as well. how many variants of this circuit did they make?!
