VHS reverb sounds like delay

When the reverb is turned all the way up the reverb sounds like a delay..is this normal? From videos of the VCR I don't hear it like in mine.

My main LED is not turning on so I have to fix that. I'm wondering if that would cause it. I'm putting that led on the side of the footswitch so I have Leads coming off the initial board so.maybe I got them mixed up. I'll work on that now but as complete beginner..I'm not sure how to troubleshoot the reverb .

Found out why the LED won't work. It won't solder. If I put solder on it. It just stays at the top and won't fill the hole in. No matter what. Hard to kinda see. But it's almost like the hole in the A led..is empty completely. There's nothing for the solder to attach too

Edit- Fixed the main LED with some troubleshooting. the pedal works now but the Reverb still sounds like a delay when turned mostly up/all the way up and it is very very noisy which Ive read on the forum here about other complaining about it. I guess it is what it is. personally thought this pedal would sound much better. atleast on the reverb side
