Walrus Audio Polychrome

Not sure exactly what components go into this one, but I know that it’s all analog. I know flangers can be harder to get all the components for, but I loved my Caesar chorus build so it’d be sick to build a flanger to add to the Walrus modulation set, if possible.

I have one of these. Definitely a nice pedal. Not sure how viable it would be in a standard enclosure with through-hole components though. I’ll crack mine open for a gut shot though.

That would be awesome! Yea if it's logistically not possible I'll probably get around to buying one eventually but I figured it was worth a shot to see if it could be done.

Bumping this because the wave toggle and mix control are super rad, but it’s absolutely ugly as sin. Also, the Byzantium is rad but doesn’t have room for an intelligent relay board, and flange is probably the effect where momentary switching modes are the most useful, so integrated relay bypass (much like the VIIB) would be very worthwhile

assuming this is an adaptation of the BF-2 just as the Julia is a CE-2, this should be doable I would think— despite being stacked boards, the Byzantium isn’t all that crowded on either PCB; a switch to 1/8w resistors, and SMD op amp and bypass μC would free up a lot of space for whatever other components need to be added.

Yea that was another reason for wanting one, I can't stand the way it looks haha. Anything I can do to not have a multi-colored lizard on my pedalboard I'll do

Yes Please, we're still waiting...

I happen to like the Polychrome graphic, very much...

I honestly like the design on a standalone basis— as a blacklight poster it would be rad. I just think it looks bad as a pedal. Honestly how I feel about most walrus stuff— appreciate the design aesthetic and would like it as standalone artwork, but really have a visceral distaste for it as pedal art. biggest exception to that is the national park series they did a few years ago, which I unabashedly adored— seriously wish I got some of those because they looked beautiful.
